1. RETURNS & REFUNDS

 

14 Days to Return. You may return an item purchased through the Website to us, so long as it is returned with 14-days of receipt of the item, and the product is not damaged.
 

Process. To request and arrange for a returned item, please email ciao@italyinseason.com. If your return is not straight forward or has unusual needs, someone will assist you. Once the return process has been explained, you must arrange with the courier to schedule the pickup of the item(s) you are returning. The product must be shipped back in its original packaging, with a courier of your choice. The return shipping and import duties back to Italy (if any) will be at the sole cost of the customer. After we receive the products and confirm they and are confirmed to be in the same state they were initially shipped, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. 

Please Note: We CANNOT accept returns on products that have been customized especially for you.

 

 

2. SHIPPING

Most of the products listed for sale on our website are ready to ship. However, others must be specially crafted for you. In such cases, please understand that the preparation time and estimated delivery will be highly variable.

 

Orders are shipped from Italy, in many cases directly from the artisans workshop(s) or studio(s). Shipments are insured for the full value of the items, but not more. If an item is particularly large, delicate, or rare, it may be delivered by shippers that specialized in the carrying of rare and valuable artwork. You understand the associated the cost and time will necessarily be higher and longer than ordinary shipments.

 

Shipping times are estimated to the best of our ability. In most cases, shipping is free or has already been anticipated in the cost of the product. In some cases, you may be able to see a specific breakdown of the shipping costs. And, in other cases, there may be different shipping options available with different terms and associated costs. We do our best to be as transparent as possible, without guaranteeing timeliness or variable costs outside of our control.

 

On most items, customers in the United States and Canada, the EU, and the UK are not charged additional duties or taxes. However, orders shipped outside these countries may be subject to to additional duties and/or taxes. You agree that you are aware of the rules and regulations in your jurisdiction and that you might be required by customs authorities to provide personal information, such as your EIN, SSN, or other identifying information to the customs authorities. Please Note: that shipping delays may occur due to customs processing and are outside of our control.
